Aarathi has spoken at literary and science festivals including in Cheltenham, Croatia, Dartington, Dundee, Edinburgh, Hay, Hong Kong, Goa, Jaipur, Mumbai, Sofia, Split, York; and at global universities, the Royal Society and Royal Institution, the Science and Natural History Museums, the British Library, and the Smithsonian, as well as for companies, including Google.

She has been a tutor for UCL Institute for Global Health’s Masters students; as a Visiting Lecturer (MA Art and Science) at Central Saint Martins and Visiting Professor (Science Literacy), New College of the Humanities; and Course developer and tutor: How to craft engaging literature from scientific research, for Arvon Popular Science Week.
